Seatbelt wet after Rain?

Default Seatbelt wet after Rain?

I left my ZR outside last night. When I cranked her up this morning, after it rained all night, the drivers side seat belt was wet. The "wet spot" was the length that probably is in the seatbelt spool... the passenger side was fine.

Windows were up, top was up...

Just wondering if any body else has experienced this???

It never rains in Southern Ca., your Z's not used to it.

that is wierd. no that never happened to me. try sitting inside the car and have someone put water on the top with a hose and see if you can see where it is getting in from. maybe the dealership has to repair that area of weatherstripping. just a thought.

Due to a lack of a garage, my Z has been parked outside all week in the rain (and this is one rainy week!). Haven't noticed this at all this week. I'd definitely have it checked out with a dealer.

I have the same exact problem. I have had my top replaced recently with some new seals and the seat belts are always wet after a good rain. My car is now again at the dealer for the 3rd time. I am always on the look out for a serious answer to help me out with this.
