Acceleration problems for 04 350z Roadster
Hello all,
My Automatic 350z is having acceleration problems it started on my trip back to Colorado while driving the car it would go from 80mph and drop to 0. After a while it would not turn on I thought it was the battery since I changed it the car turned on. I kept driving then the same thing happened driving fine then lost acceleration. Now the vehicle has been sitting when I put it in R or drive it has a kick to it. I had the vehicle scanned and it has some codes P1754, P0744? I did change the crankshaft sensor, the battery terminal fuse as well has a new battery. I have the AT light on.
i need someone’s help please 🙏🏽

Welcome and sorry to hear of your troubles. Both codes indicate problems with your A/T. Probably time to take (or tow) it to a tranny specialist. Where are you located in Colorado?
hello thanks for the quick response I live in Aurora, Colorado I just moved here so I don’t know any good places? Any suggestions?
Remove the trans pan. If there are no sparkles, you need a new valve body. If there are sparkles or chunks, you need a new trans. There's a known issue with the control board on top of the valve body. A conductor breaks and causes intermittent loss of control of the torque converter lock up solenoid. It's not a cheap repair, but relatively easy to do if you have basic tools, a jack and 4 jack stands.
