Just bought a 2004 350Z Roadster and the convertible roof mechanism is not working. The roof top compartment panel will raise but roof will not retract. Anybody have experience or advice about this issue?. Thanks

 

Just for clarification - it is currently closed, and when you signal the top to open, the tonneau or storage lid goes up to the vertical position, but the top does not start opening?

Do the windows roll down when you start the open sequence?
