Default To order a 2005 or buy off the lot?

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on ordering a 2005 at this point. Does anyone know what's new with 2005?

Seems like you would get a better resale if you get your ride in sept when they first hit the streets. Of course that also means you would have more miles which may offset any gain in value from getting in the beggining of the production cycle.

We're half way through the year, so do I buy off the lot and enjoy it for an extra 6 months or do I order and wait to gain 6 months of the production year.

I'm leaning towards just buying it now. Unless 2005 has some new options worth waiting for.

I had the same thoughts. Yesterday I made the decision to pull the trigger and will be picking it up on Friday. Chrome Silver with Charcoal interior. Life is short, don't waste this Spring and Summer of beautiful weather and beautiful driving.

AND Nissan USA replied to an e-mail I sent them about the 2005 models, and they said there was no real changes for 2005 except for a few elements on the interior. 2006 will be the year of any real change.

Good luck!

Buy it now! No question. Once you get the top down on a sunny day, you'll understand why. Press for a very good deal though... no point in paying for the depreciation from last Sept until now that you're not getting the use for. Hold out for paying close to invoice buying off the lot. You may have to search a lot but the deal is out there waiting. Paying sticker at this time of the model year would not be to wise.

I think you would be hard pressed to get a Roadster anywhere near invoice. Believe me, I have dealt with 4 dealers with the best, hard fought deal finalized yesterday...$1600 under MSRP (about $1100 over invoice).
