55 here, female. Bought the Z Touring Roadster (and yes indeedy, in Mid-life Crisis Red, too!), instead of the new Volvo C70. Love it.
I'm old enough to remember the first Z's back in the mid-70's, when my roommate's boyfriend had one. He loved his, way back then. Kind of got me started on Nissans; since 1980 I've owned 4 (2 310's, a Stanza, and the current 2000 Maxima GLE).
I wonder how many of the younger buyers here might end up being life-long Nissan customers? The Z isn't a car most people see every day, but it really establishes an image for Nissan.

40 here,, and have heard the MLC comment twice now in 2 weeks. Traded in a PU truck for my 04 ZR, and man, a great ride.

I am 37, my wife is 28, MId life crises....... ? wow this is fun, would of had a crisis sooner!!!!! I believe I have to make the payments, I have to maintained it, so I get what I want. I am a partner and Preside a Telecom company, all my partners drive Bimmer's and Mercedez... and when I arrive at meetings and Buisness lunches, people look at me Like I think is funny, when they ask me about the car, my partners laugh and say, yep that his corporate car live life respecting others and enjoy yourself!
