Default Splash Guard

One of the options on my '04 Roadster are four "Splash Guards" for which there was a rather substantial charge. For the life of me I can't figure out (1) what are the splash guards and (2) where are they located. For the latter question, I assume behind the front and rear wheels, but I see nothing that doesn't appear to be an integral part of the body.

The splash guards are behind front and rear wheel wells.
It's bolted on so you should be able to tell they're there.

Go to www.performancenissanparts.com and click on 350z, exterior for a picture of what they should look like.

They are body color and look like part of the body. They keep the slop that the wheels kick up off of the car and are well worth what they cost. Your car will stay cleaner longer and you'll have fewer paint chips. If you don't get them initially, you can add them later. I'll post you a pic from the service manual later today, tonight actually, after I get home from work.

if you are unable to see anything that appears it is not originally part of the sheetmetal behind the wheels, chances are very good that they didnt install them. they are quite obvious. they look pretty much like what you would expect splash guards to look like.
