Roadster problem..
Hi,
I got my roadster for about 2 month, with only 2700 mile.
But its been sitting at the dealer service shop for a week already. Waiting for a new ECU that is on back order. The dealer did not offer me a loaner and told me to call nissan waranty instead. There is no estimated time of when I get the car back.
This is a brand new car, that was broken in correctly. I'm not sure if the defective ECU can cause any other problem to the car.
I like to know what are my options?
Can I get them to give me a new car?
Extend the waranty?
Help?
HL

Why are you letting them push you around?
You don't wait for an offer, you demand!
Make up some threats that you never plan to go through with, like getting your lawyer to see if you can enact the lemon law. Extending the warranty, lifetime oil changes, etc... the demands are endless. But you have to be get mad... you don't sound mad enough right now.

I am in the car business.
The dealership does not owe you a loaner vehicle. Your warranty probably cover somd kind of rental reemberment. Get mad is ineffective, being deligent is. As to speak to a Higher authourity. Service Manager, General Sales manager, General Manager.
Remeber dealers hate warranty work because they get paid less to do warranty work than customer pay.
in IL the lemon law is the same problem 3 times in the first year, 12k

Well I've been quit patient with this already...
Nissan dealer offer me an loaner car, which I will pick up tomorow..
Now about my car.. no damn ETA.. No damn ECU
It could be weeks, months..
Base on the lemon Law If they hold it for more then a month, I can get a new Car right?
KingofScion.. since your in da bussiness, do you know?
Also, they say that they see my amp installed, and if they find problem due to that amp, like screw in a harness or blah blah.. they will make me pay for everything..
Now my amp is only physically installed, no wire hook up yet.. It aint possible. Plus I had this problem before the amp. What can I do to make sure they dont use my amp as an excuse?
Thanks
