Hi, recently i stopped by a nissan dealership after far too long of looking at this car on the internet i wanted more info! I went to my local dealer and got it priced out for a lease but could not purchase at the time. (this was last month) I come back the other day to sit down with a salesperson to complete the deal but now their mood totally changed, price skyrocketed, and they treated me like they dont need my business! Anyhow i still really liked this car but figured to cut down on a few options (mainly navigation system) I hear there are not too many roadsters with automatic (touring model) that dont have navi as well is this true? I was looking at a chrome silver fully loaded roadster on the lot but i really want a pikes peak or silverstone...i told this to the salesperson as well. I didnt end up buying but i want to get the car in the colors i mentioned so they offered me that i pay them 100 dollar deposit just to look for a car that will suit me then it will be deducted from the initial fees....does this sound correct? i gave them the money figuring that it is refundable (but i did not sign the bottom in case they want to lock me into something so it says customer refused to sign LOL)

 

did the price skyrocket or the payments skyrocket? If their leasing residual values, and bank rates change monthly.

I sold a car and the lease payment when up 60 bux a month because the values changed, even the the price stayed the same.

the payments have changed i know they change monthly so this is why i had to cut down on a few options.....so what about this 100 dollar charge to just look for a car? after i told some people about this they told me to take my money back so i did and now they are sending me a check in the mail after i paid cash.,...i will just have to locate the car on my own or do business with a local leasing agency
