Default How long do u leave top down?

Hey all,

Just wondering how long you leave your top down consecutively? In other words do you go days without putting it up? Do you think there will be a problem with creases doing that?

thanx!

I leave mine down indefinitely, just make sure its not wet when down (like after a wash).

Mine is garaged so I leave it down for days at a time, but as the previous post said, never put it down when it's wet. After it's been down for a few days I will notice some creases that are new but they disappear once the top has been up for a while. I have a 93 300zx convertible. I leave the top down on that one pretty much always unless I get caught in the rain and cannot maintain appox: 50mph. That top material is more of a cloth and seems to be completely unaffected by always keeping the top down. I have 3 other convertibles that as long as I can keep them garaged the tops are always down. But, I have more cars than garage space so when they are outside the tops are up.

When I first bought my roadster two weeks ago, I was putting the top up every night. Now it's about four days and counting with the top down ...

Unless there's rain or snow, or it's being washed, the top's down on mine 100% of the remaining time it's on the road.
