no, I don't have a clear bra yet. . .the ones that I have seen so far were pretty shotty work (bad seams etc.) I'll surely get one once I can find a quality installer, but for now, I just add an extra coat of wax and wash regularly.

Having relocated from CA to CO 3 years ago, your excellent narrative and pictures bring back lots of fond memories. Thanks for posting them.
I'm as much a top-down fanatic as anyone, but I understand the need to keep the top up at 117°. On a June motorcycle trip through Palm Springs many years ago, I discoverd that once the temperature gets above 112° or so, open-air motoring becomes equivalent to standing in front of a giant blow dryer -- the faster you go, the hotter you get. I had to crawl down San Jacinto Mountain at 5-10 mph after making the mistake of starting the descent after 9 am.

I had the week off from work and my girlfriend couldn't get out of work, so, I went it alone. If you haven't gone on a trip by yourself before, I highly suggest it. No one there to nag you and you never have a time table. . . .just you and your car.

Wow! Those are some amazing pictures. I bet that is a trip you will never forget.
Did you go alone, or was this with a convoy?

Sounds like alot of fun. I was able to make it out to montery/big sur/yosemite a few years ago, it was by far the most beautiful place I have EVER seen. The fog filled mountains, the sunny beaches, the beautifal farmland, the towns, the forest.... wine country.... man I wish i was there. I have to move to cali. Or at least get out there for a visit soon.
