Count me as another happy owner!

80 miles/day to/from work
2100 miles
1 month on Monday

No problems. Only been to the dealer to pick up mods!

Yeah, I take "the long way," too!

5 months , 16,000 + miles. Tire feathering and still waiting for new tires and fix (4 weeks). I drive to and from work (350 miles to one job, 450 miles to the other ). Love this car, even with the feathering. Stereo is weak but it doesn't matter with the top down. Being able to raise and lower the top while sitting in the car is great. My 993 C4 Cab sits a lot more now. It is a great and fun car to drive. It is a $40K go fast bargin. A similarily equiped Boxster would have been over $60k.

YES!

There are a few little things I wish were different, but none of them are important enough to dampen my enthusiasm for this car. When I bought it, I figured it would be my weekend toy, but I've wound up making it my daily driver because I enjoy it so much.

Considering I have 7 other cars and trucks, that's pretty high praise.

That's why I bought it.

My commute is nearly an hour each way. I was driving an SUV when I took the job, but that is a long commute for a heavy beast.

Now I actually look forward to the commute. This summer has been perfect. I come out of work, drop the top, pick a CD, and go for a cruise. Sweet.

I drive it every day unless the weather really sucks. If it snows, or if there is salt on the road I take the SUV. Otherwise I take the Z.

Clutch Sucks!

Paint Sucks (hairline cracks in paint)!

Trunklid fitment is crappy (higher on one side than the other)!

Tires Feathered at 6000 miles!

And worst of all ..... NISSAN SERVICE SUCKS!!!!

With all that, it is still a great car to drive! I love it!

A real "looker" too.
Strangers still come up to me and ask me "what is that color? I have never seen that before." (lemans sunset)

Default Rates Second in Life's Most Fun

Yeah, I have to admit, driving my Zeta comes in a close second to doing the WildThing with my wife, but as I get older Zeta's gaining ground.

Had her about 4 1/2 months and she looks better now than when I got her, 15 coats of Zaino and she looks fine. Close to 9000 miles and no complaints. No tire feathering, no holes in top (actually didn't know I even had a top until last week), Bose is not the best but its adequate.

She's not a daily driver, but for some reason I end up taking her to the Post Office two - three times a day, never can tell when that Publisher Clearing House letter will arrive. I've taken her on two 1800 mile trips, both were awesome (except the one where I got caught in a Hail storm, thank goodness for PDR).

Wouldn't trade her for the world. She might get some new clothes soon (tires, wheels, new NAV/DVD, exhaust) but all in due time.

I love my ZR!I drive it work everyday (almost everyday). It's my only car. I had it since Feb, got 10K miles on it now and just installed a JWT Pop Charger. No tire feathering, no holes in the top, no rattles or squeaks

Still puts a smile on my face when I see it and drive it...!

It's just ok.

Just kidding. It's like owning a roller coaster. No better feeling in the world than driving it with the top down. A supercharger might be the only thing that would make it better. There really isn't another car that I'd consider for the price. It's my first convertible and I will ALWAYS own a convertible from now on. There are only 2 or 3 other cars that I would realistically consider. The first two are insanely expensive...but I'd trade my Z for any of them if price weren't an object.

1. Acura HSC (the NSX replacement, when it's available --obviously not a convertible, but it is a bad @ss car)

2. SL500 (love the looks and the hardtop convertible, just not the $88K price)

3. C6 convertible? (just a thought...not sure if I'll like it when I actually see it in person -- so far I'm not impressed)

Runner's up (could live with, but wouldn't be my first choice...

1. Lexus SC430 (too feminine)
2. BMW M3 Convertible (too plain)
3. New SLK Convertible (the new front-end is cool)

Other convertibles that I would NEVER consider:

1. Cadillac XLR (too grandpa'ish)
2. New Viper (too uncomfortable, but I wouldn't mind the 500hp)
3. Z4 (just don't like it)

I'd buy it again in a second! Had the top issue but dealer is taking care of it.
This is my daily driver and I am bummed that my new job is about 1 mile from home -- so very little road time ! Imagine that, my roadster makes me want to commute.

I love my roadster....

However: I am currently experiencing a drip coming from the passenger side A pillar. It's been in the shop twice. The leak isn't in the top, it's in the weatherstripping along the windshield. They did find a Nissan TSB about it, and shimmed it the last time, but that only seemed to make the lease twice as bad.

I'd still not rather be driving anything on the road. Since I debadged it, I get all kinds of questions as to what it is.

This car is so well balanced in it's performance. Seats are SOOOOO comfortable. Shifter is perfect-tight, precise, mechanical.Steering wheel is the perfect size. Cornering limits, with my Nismo wheels and 275 S-03's is beyond my own limts. This car turns heads everywhere with everyone. My previous car was an Audi S4 which I had tuned to 440hp and 515lb-ft torque. It was a straight line monster, but all factors put together, including the drop-top factor, of course, the Z satisfies more.

Since April 2004 NO PROBLEMS! Best car I've ever owned. I would like the heated seats to be hotter barely warm.

Dude, I'm sorry to hear that. ****'s are out their to screw people properties becuase they are envious. I would claim it on your auto insurance, plus a police report. That would be the first and last place I would take the Z.
