I need your advice, how do you wash your top? Rinse with water only, use soap/water, use other products like cleaners and protectants or don't do anything? Also, how often do you wash the top? Thanks!

 

I rinse it off every time I wash the car (2-3 times a week) but only use a cleaner on it when it really needs it. Maybe once a month. I just startede using Raggtopp protectant so don't know how often I will apply it but I'[m sure an application will last at least a few months depending on weather.

I use the Raggtopp cleaner and protectant as well and it still looks great two weeks after the application. I keep soap off of it when washing the car and use a filtered water rinse and microfiber towel over the entire thing once a week. Seems to keep it clean and dark.

 

i rinse it every week. and apply protectent about once every 1-2 monthes.

i wash the top with the car wash soap every time i wash my car. and i re-apply my 303 canvas protectant when ever the beading of water is not as strong.

 

I rinse my top with water only every time I wash the car (once a week) and wash the top with Mother's Ph balanced soap every 4-6 weeks.
For you guys that are using Raggtop protectant - are you using the Vinyl or cloth product? I purchased the cloth protectant, but according to the folks at Raggtop, we should be using the Vinyl product. I know there's lots of controversy on this topic.
