We'll guys my car is getting boring to me.I think I am gonna take off my Nismo graphics and run it clean for awhile. My Z is Chrome silver and I have had the graphics on for a little over 2 years.
Big concern is fading...I am worried once i remove these the Nismo will still be there in spirit...IN THE PAINT!
Ya'll have any thought or insight you would like to shed on whether or not to do this???

FWIW, I'm not a fan of the graphics and think the car looks better clean.
How much time has it spent in the sun? I have a pearl white Ford Explorer that I put business graphics on the side. I removed them after 5 years. The truck was never garaged. You have to look very, very close under just the right light to be able to see where the graphics were.
Granted, that is a white car but the chrome silver would probably react similarly. You have had them on only two years vs. the 5 that I had. If your z has been garaged, then I think you should be OK. See if there is a spot where you could lift a portion of the graphic and see if you got much fading.

agreed, chrome silver is an amazing color (i'm not just saying that because it's what i drive) and I personally think it looks better w/o the graphics. Hope it works out dude
Had a "ricer friend" who had graphics all over her miata...when her husband removed them one day they were definitely there in spirit...this was 4 yrs ago. The graphics' spirit isn't noticeable any more...after a few polishes and waxing sessions and a cpl yrs all the ghostly presentations were done.
Having said all that I'm with everyone else here on removal of graphics...clean car is a happy car.
