I agree wit your accessment. Most of the tech on the 370z are already out in some form or the other in other Nissan cars. The engine is gold as seen in the g37, tranny ditto, interior has a mix of 350z/Maxima parts, chassis is proven etc etc etc. I dont see the 370z having the same problems as the first years 350z. 350z was an all new model from the ground up and had lots of teething problems. The 370z is an evolution of the existing model and uses parts proven on other models.
Exactly. I'm not worried at all. As far as the rev-matching manual, that's probably just a matter of software.
All I can tell you is I was able to sit at the same table with the chief designer of the Z a couple of weeks ago at ZCON in Cleveland. Along with other Nissan top brass.
There will be a NISMO 370Z. I already gave the hint on the date in another thread.
If they are making a NISMO 370Z, is it going to be mass produced just as another trim level, or limited like the current NISMO Z's? If it's going to be mass produced wheres the fun in that.

All I can tell you is that there will be a NISMO Z. And I did hint to the date you can expect to see it.

I don't really see the point in having both a track and Nismo model. Actually, I can think of a very good reason NOT to have both. Likely, the track edition is what the discussion at ZCON was referring to. What do you think zsport1?
