Default VQ35/37 Flywheel interchangeable?

I dont think there interchangeable, but I have a ACT Streetlite flywheel from my 03 Z, still brand new. I sold the Z and I now own a G37S. The clutch slips badly from 2-3 so Im going to swap it out.

Long story short I'm wanting to know if the flywheels are interchangeable. If so that would definitely save me $400 from buying another LW flywheel.

Also, I had the JWT setup in my Z, great clutch but had a ton of chatter in the lower RPMs, it sounded like marbles being rolled around inside a metal can.

Since I have a G37 now I'd like to keep it as quiet as possible, but I want to get rid of the heavy dual mass flywheel. Is there any clutch and flywheel combo's that are quieter than the JWT setup?

Hell yeah, great news. So I can just use the de LW flywheel on the VHR.

Im leaning towards the ACT Stage 2 kit. Read some reviews that says the chatter isnt as loud as the JWT.

I looked at some places it s the same , I checked with ACT applications for both models & it says different p/n s . I would double check on your end mate to make sure on flywheel .

Would you have some place or someone to make a side by side compare !

Always doublecheck mate .

Well sadly, I cant compare them side by side. Where I live I really have the ONLY G37S, and there might be a handful of modified 350/70 Z's as well at G35s.

I thought that they had the little line dots things on the flywheel for a sensor where in different spots. That if you used the wrong one it'd throw a cel or throw your car into limp mode....something like that. I could be way wrong though

No your correct, When I swapped the clutch in my Z you have dowels/marks you have to make sure are aligned on the flywheels for the sensor.

I found this on another site
also a de flywheel will not allow a hr to start since theres a different crankshaft positioning sensor wheel on it, clutch itself MIGHT work but impossible to know without knowing spline count and offset from the transmission face only experimentation will tell.

Man, where did you find that? I've been google searching it for like 2 days now. Maybe I was wording it wrong. I'm buying a VHR clutch for sure, but that just proved the original question to know if the de flywheel would work.

I just googled "de flywheel on hr" then it was in nico club. That's a lot of trial and error! Being off by just a spline. I guess if you got it wrong a person would get really good at installing a clutch and flywheel.

You wouldn't happen to be selling a fly wheel for dirt cheap now are you you don't need it!
