Default Turn signal not cancelling Anyone?

Have a 06 g35 few years ago I took airbag out to remove parts I was going to paint. Put back together and ever since when I put turn signal on and make the turn it will not cancel out. Anyone have any suggestions? Also have a airbag light on. Idk if this is something from that as well. Any help would be great. Did a search and not much on our cars about this. Thanks!!

There should be a "turn signal canceler" piece inside the steering wheel. It's usually plastic, and has a couple of tabs on it that are supposed to turn the signals off. It needs to be aligned properly when you remove/replace the steering wheel, so my bet is it's not aligned properly.
