Default 370Z trunk won't open because the convertible top is "supposedly" ope

Hi,

For the past few days, I’ve been having the problem that I can’t open the trunk of my 370Z anymore. When I press the trunk button, nothing happens. The light indicating that the convertible top is not properly closed stays on. I’ve already opened and closed the top several times, and that all works perfectly as usual.

Today, I read the error codes, and it shows the DTC error B1778 on the component "285C1-1ET0A."

According to https://parts.nissanusa.com/p/Nissan...5C1-1ET0B.html it's the "Convertible Top Control Unit".

Has anyone perhaps had any experience with this component?

Thanks and regards
