Default 370Z as a "practical-enough" car?

I love the 3xx series. When I first heard that the 350 was released, I started saving. Fast forward a few years later and I'm moving from Manhattan to Miami. I need a car, and haven't owned or needed one in over 6 years!

My question is fairly simple... Is the 370 practical enough to get around and do mundane things like get groceries and pick up a friend (maybe with groceries), or does the lack of a back seat and "2-golf-bag trunk" not cut it? What has been your experience?

*I'm interested in the Roadster, so I don't anticipate headroom being an issue in case I want to do something like, stack people... kidding... kind of.

Test drive a 370Z. Stop at the grocery store. Take the groceries home. Return the Z. There you go.

The Z car and practical should never be in the same sentence

Are you a single guy? Yes

Are you or do you plan on getting married soon? No

If your a single guy and moving to miami, that sounds like the perfect location for a roadster.

as a single male with a 350, its doable. been doing it for over 4 years in terms of going to work, running errands, having fun. but I am yearning for a 4 seater and hope to get a gti as a second car.

Been DD a 350 for a while now...it's got enough room in it to get the groceries and such....hell I fit a 42 inch TV in it. Not exactly on the top of the list for grocery getting BUT it can get the job done.

As practical as the 350, and it has more trunk space.

"Alot" more room? Nope.. Maybe a tad more nothing crazy. My dad has a 09 sport and I have a 04 Touring. The thing I love about the 370 is the rear strut brace is closer to the back of the seat so you can fit larger items and not worry about arranging things to fit. As for a vert... I'd almost say it has no trunk. The 350 vert has a smaller trunk than S2000 (refer to Top Gear.. They had a roadster comparison.) Yea the 370 has a bigger trunk but compared to a 350, that's like being a gold medalist at the special olyimpics. To answer the OP.. 370 is Practical as a sinlge mans car assuming u have a beater of some sort (mine is a 10 Yaris).

You can do anything with a Z that you can do with any other car. Just takes a little creativity.

Thank you so much for your replies. It's kind of an oddball question, but the responses were great. I'm sold on it!
