Default Hotchkis Sway Bars Breaking in Half?

I just heard from someone that he's seen a set of Hotchkis Sway Bars broken in half. Anyone else know of other Hotchkis Sways breaking?

I am about to get a set of sway bars, but might go with solid bars because of this.

It looks like adjustment hole part came off. Possibly a bad weld job to the hollow tube? Even though the Hotchkis sway didn't literally break in half, this is just as bad.

that's the first time I've ever seen/heard of a Hotchkis issue, and we've been offering them for years now, with a ton sold for a wide variety of cars. I am quite sure they would take care of it without question if you contact them with an original proof of purchase though.

That doesn't even look like a Hotchkis Sway Bar. The end on that bar is a plug. Hotchkiss presses the hollow bar togethether on the ends so there is no way for it to break off. Maybe that's an old Hotchkis bar but it isn't the one they are using now. In the pic that one doesn't even look adjustable.

zbear your PM box is full.

I don't know if Godspeed is a username or a manufacturer.

Here is a pic of the Hotchkis Sway bar. The bar is one piece so I don't see how it's possibel to break it.

Don't be afraid, they are probably the most popular bars on the market. I've only heard of one or two failures.

Any evidence to support the claim?
