MY350Z.com FLOWCHART
I was bored at work, so I made a flowchart which outlines the decision making process to use when posting a new thread. It's pretty self explanatory, but that may be too tough for some people, so just start at the first diamond shape at the top of the chart, answer the fricken questions, and follow the little arrows to the next stop.
I haven't included each and every little forum and subforum (like Regional stuff), since more ignorant posts are made in the main forums.
Enjoy.
Update: clarified a few thing
Monday Update: Added Search Process. It's getting more cluttered now. Need to find a way to delineate the main trunk. Color change may be in order.

Nice, but I see one flaw. You need another flow chart to reference to when performing a search. Most newbs won't do things like go to advance search, use boolean search or search only titles and will then post a new thread that already exists somewhere.
Nice work though.

Very nice. Now if we could just get people to read it and follow it, just like all the other instructions, guidelines and rules that they never read then you just might be on to something.
To get people to read it, is there a way to present a page for when people sign up for the site, it would show them "tips for searching" and my flowchart? Like a "Welcome Aboard Package" sort of thing.
Gotta love a corporate job

I definitely like the flow chart.
