BTW. That's one hell of a time for being stock with wider wheels/tires (but lighter wheels) and a very mediocre launch of 2.2. Good run and nice trap, nonetheless.

Yeah, you should not need a pic. Trust is essential.

On another note:
I thought stock ment, factory spec. as in spare tire, stock rims/tires, exhaust etc...no? I read in a previous post that this was the case.

That's a good time for an AZ member. From what I recall their elevation is very high, not to mention their DA kills any and all good runs (worse than TX).

And yes, he isn't stock, as he's modified (according to his sig). Stock means just as it came from the factory/dealership, so that includes tires, rims, exhaust, intake, sways (yes, I know), springs, etc.

Can we get some specs on your car? Also, I don't think I can add the 1/8 mile time as we've passed up on a lot of those in the past. Sorry. You should try the 1/4 mile and see how you/car do/does.

Sure, I know... we are trying to find a 1/4mile track we can go run at within 6 hours... Anyone know of any good ones for socal?

06 6sp Touring Convertable 5.6L Titan (stock internals) Slicks

The motor is stock internals but with JWT smog legal cams. Hogan intake manifold and JBA headers with exhaust. The car weighs between 2780-2800lbs. Here is a pic of the engine bay...

12.368 @ 126.572 - 2.283 60ft

1. 2004 G35 Sedan
2. 6MT
3. Street Tires (20" wheels and 275/30/20 Nitto Invos)
4. Greddy TT
5. No spray
6. Built Motor
7. Speedworld Raceway - Phoenix, AZ
8. ~70 degrees, 1580 ft elevation, Barometric pressure 29.87, low wind.

Car was in full street configuration: Full stereo (2-JL 12W6's and large amps, full interior, etc.

Launch was crap every time. I had to take off like I was leaving a stop sign and baby it until almost the top of 2nd. The stock GTO I was racing had a good ~8+ car lengths on me before I got going.

Trap speed is good for mid-low 11's if I could hook up.

That's one hell of a trap, but the poor time isn't just due to your launch. It seems like you're shifting extremely slow all around.

I spun in 1st and 2nd anytime I got on it at all so yeah it was slow. I shifted fast but there is always room to grow.

Ah. Next time it spins, let off a little [more]. No use in burning up your tires like that. Even without traction you should be in the 11s.
