Top 25 1/4 Mile Times For ( TT, ST, SuperCharger, Nitrous, Bolt-ons, Stock )
We've had multiple people run awesome times in the 2003 DEs and not knowing how to drive is driver dependent (if a competent driver buys the Z34, they'll run great times).
I went to the strip tonight its supposed to be 28-3X and of course they closed at last min. I was hoping for low 13's on my catback Z. So i can be in stock tire car and then bolt ons.... DAMN.
pretty bad 60ft. and u should be trapping close to 100 or more...keep at it and keep shifting faster and working on ur launch.. id start at 2500 rpm and feathering clutch and working from there.. heres my slip with same exact situation as u think it was second week i had the car stock except injen intake so basically stock street tires 03 z 6spd..
yeah that was actually my 3rd run that night. The first run I just burnt out tried launching too high like 3200. Next run a supercharging mustang next to me broke at the line and distracted me so I launched late and didnt even bother to stop to get the slip lol. The last run I wanted to make it count so I granny launched and was trying to get the gto. I think the gto should run faster than it did, I dont think he could drive his car very well. Nor could I, I know. I havent taken it to the drag since. Thanks for the advice. Ill use it next time.
i let out alot of tire pressure too even though others have told me not to...but it def. helped, best 60ft. i had with my 19's street tires is a 2.0 and i had like 20psi in my tires and went 13.7. just takes some seat time to get the hang of it and figure out what it will hold on the launch, u want a little spin but not too much in my opinion just no hopping which tire pressure will play a part in... i say 2800-2900 and feathering is a good starting point
There's a minor problem getting on the "100 percent stock" list. "Stock" means OEM tires. So few 350Zs stay "stock" for long. Nice try.
Good point I honestly just realized that I do have general exclaim uhp's. I bought the car from a dealership in November as posted above. Dont assume im trying to win one over with your "nice try" comment.
No worries man, I traded wheels for the grand touring wheels. Optional factory wheels with the original tires, and I was no longer eligible for the stock list, I appreciate the fine line however, it eliminates, CAI, catback exhaust, etc. from being considered.
I don't make the rules here, but the answer is "maybe." The key is the tires. They must be OEM tires.
