It is late and I cannot remember it being done right at the moment. Help me out people!

Again, I dont recall an auto manufacture switching a model to another line of cars ie.. taking a corvette and making it a Caddy instead of keeping it a Chevy.

Z costs averages around 31k, G costs 35K ish. I could see this car selling for $45-55K, like a corvette, tops.
To make the Nissan Skyline into an Infinity would be wierd.
It would be like Selling the Corvette as a Cadillac.
They Skyline got popular because it was "affordable" to the masses in Japan even though it was on the upper end of affordable. It was a Nissan; a sports car. Not a luxury sports car.

For me to choose $80K Nissan over intended Carrera-S for my next car... They better make it look better than new Mitsu Evo or G35 with some fancy headlights (the picture from that other link)
I love the rear end of drawing of GTR but the front is too fancy/not clean/new Mitsu looking/space age.

Nissan = Infinity... different names, same cars an engines. Here we have the infiniti g35, an m45 in japan they are called nissan skyline and nissan gloria. Same cars people. And even if is called Infinity Skyline GT-R... just put a Nissan badge on it..

how many people in the US is gonna pony up for 150k ford? and how much of the skyline will be based off the g35/350z? 10%? 20%? probably not much at all for 80k. rebadging a car like the skyline is stupid. it's confusing for people everywhere. if people in europe wants a corvette, they're looking for a chevrolet corvette, not a cadillac or pontiac or holden corvette. a chevrolet corvette.
