Default Slowness in the site

If you have noticed the site being slow lately part of wich is due to the database.

So tonight I will be performing maintenance on the server to help speed it back up.

Will this also effect the search function timing out and having issues? I'm willing to bet that your indexed search table is HUGE, and might be causing this. I'm not sure if vbulletin has an addon to rebuild the search tables, but it might be worth looking into.

even though ping reply back at fast respond (24mm). I'm in sj, next to the DC so that respond is normal. Seem like high load from database which cause the forum to hang. (many times for the last 2 hours)

Site lags like hellz from my work namely... sometimes I click a link 3 time before it loads. If I let it sits, it takes literally 1 min + to load a thread. Could be something at my work? But I don't know... Less lag from home, but still slowish compared to olden days.

The slowness lately is due to switching of the search function. (Taking up more memory on the backend.)

Still slow as ****, and it's getting old. I've tried twice today to type posts, only to have it freeze up and lose them. Godzilla, I'm know you're trying bro but SOMEONE has to figure this out. I'm here too much for it to be slow haha!
