I've absolutely always hated that forum. It's completely worthless if you ask me. It was full of nothing but stupidity and dumb stories. Like omg I pwned a honda accord ... Thanks for getting rid of it.

Getting rid of the street racing forum is a good move, it shouldn't be endorsed by this site. I may be new to this site, but I have owned Z's since 1985 and this site is awesome. I also agree with the "take it to the track" statements, that is where performance car racing belongs. I own and race a respectable (not professional) drag car, and while I can make it street legal to race anytime, I choose to keep it on the track only. I have raced long enough to realize that one small mistake can cost you or someone else their life, I have seen it happen. Have fun, but keep it on the track and drive within your limits. "A Z would be a terrible thing to waste".

maybe the trolls will go away. can you ban bench racing as well (OMG I have a civic and my homies gots a Z, will I win?)
I personally see no problem with street racing, granted, there are idiots who shouldn't be and places you shouldn't, but when it is responsible drivers on deserted roads....
And I know 80% of you guys speed and push your cars, so it's hypocritical to flame people for doing it for a purpose other than speed.
But this isn't my forum, there are other forums that allow it. hopefully it does tone down the children.

I personally don't care for street racing...but its fine if other people want to face the possible consequences.
Honestly I just don't like how most of the threads would be the exact same thing. Like who cares if you beat someone...you want a congrats/applause? Most of the stories are skewed anyways.

Thanks God, no more bench racing. I've had a few cars including my Z and havent raced on the highway in 4 years or so. I can still get along just fine w/o it. I have an 1/8 mile track nearby but thats it. I just enjoy the cars and great people I've met over the years.

I always wondered why the street racing forum was under the "motorsports" catagory
I'm torn about it cause I won't miss the completely retarded F&F threads and immaturity, but some of the threads about highway runs against vipers and Z06's were interesting to see how the Z's fared on an open stretch of road - where the only way to legally do that is on the autobahn or salt flats so it's not so likely someone would do a race in 1 of those 2 places in the world
