so is the 20th good with everyone? after 7pm? we could meet up first and grab some dinner than do the "meet" right after. or do you guys want to do "meet & dinner"? i'm planning on taking tons of photos and even make a small video of the "meet". hopefully i can show more of the tuning life in Korea...

He owns two 가라오케(karyoke bars) in Ap-Gu-Jung. You know the expensive karyoke bar that customers can pick and choose escort girls on the spot... He is a car mania.. really cool dude... He once considered getting a Z and have me modify it just like mine, so he could drift with it.. but he went with the Silvia and the S2000 instead.

Andrew, I'll post up a meet notice on the Korean Z club. 20th it is then... my350z.com crew should meet up and eat. Then meet up with the Club Z guys afterwards.

 

Well I just put down a deposit for that SRT8 Challenger in front of the PX. I started it and revved it a few times. I couldn't drive it because I don;t have the license yet. That car is sick though, and imagine it with a supercharger....

I have to finish this next 2 weeks of integration and submit the exception to policy once I get to my unit. I'm hoping to be driving it by this time next month. With my luck in the Army though, the exception to policy will get kicked back for something stupid like I havn't been in Korea long enough or something.

Regardless to that fact, you're looking at MY srt8 everytime you walk out the px.... lol

I think quite a few Club Z members are going to show up on 20th!
Club Z meet is scheduled at 9:30pm near Ap-Gu-Jung. So, I think it would be better if my350z.com crews can get together around 7pm for dinner near Ap-Gu-Jung. Then join the Club Z meet afterward.

Bump for the 20th

 

20th is still on, but I might not have my car with me since my mechanic decided to take apart my transmission yesterday... I located a spare broken transmission from Pusan last week and I was hoping to use its third gear, but they look different from one another. Also, I might be a little late for the dinner. I have a tee time at 1:30pm and it usually takes about 5 hours+ to play 18holes of golf in Korea... That only gives me 30 minutes to get to Ap-Gu-Jung from Boon-Dang. Which is not quite possible during a rush hour... So, I'm shooting for 7:30pm...

 

^roger, no problem... even without the Z you'll feel right at home. hah, hell none of us have our Zs!

Friday's meet is going to be a good turn out! They are all looking forward to get their cars photographed by you! HAHA~ I also told them you will be filming them with HD camera.. I'm thinking about driving around the outer express way. This express way makes a complete circle around Seoul. Also, we get to drive through many brightly lit tunnels... Good for fliming cars in motion.. Let me know what you think.

^you have no idea how excited i am for this meet... i can't wait to see all the great cars and fall in love with what i love doing best: film & photography. this will be a great addition to my portfolio and i guarantee that this will be an EPIC adventure.

Jay 혛, at some point i'm going to try and mention a car that you don't know and/or have pictures of but YES once again you got the right car...then again a lime green silvia can't be too hard not to notice...actually I'm interested in the Supra behind it...know any supra guys that are down to meet as well?

Well, my Z is sort of fixed... My mechanic transplanted the third gear and the synchro from a spare transmission I got. I have 3rd gear now... BUT I can't downshift from 5th to 4th, nor to 3rd.. I would have to shift back to 2nd from 5th then go back to 3rd or 4th... That spare transmission had the exact problem... Oh well, at least I can drag! HAHAH~ I also fixed overboosting problem by loosening up the actuator arm a little.
So, I guess I'll have my car tomorrow... See you guys..
