for a Focal Utopia 33WX. Its their 13" sub. Just thinking out loud thats all.

 

Hrm.. why not go with the 13" w7? Just looking for a different vibe/sound?

I noticed a dynamic difference from the 13 compared to the smaller versions. The focal is a good product but if I remember correctly it has lower output.

I have the focal utopia 3ways up front, kinda want the sub to match. I'm very happy with the W7 but Ive had them for a while not and i get bored of subs/speakers pretty quick. You should see the list of subs and speakers Ive gone through.

 

Same here My Utopia's are on eBay .. going DLS Iridium 6.3, I think. Sub .. I've got 3 choices in the garage .. XXX, MagnumD2, or v3 IDMax. Decisions decisions I've gone thru a ton of subs lately.

If you can get the same hookup on the Focal sub as you got on yer 3ways .. I don't see why not W7's resell pretty well.

 

Yeah, I'm like you guys--I get bored of my setup. I started with a sealed XXX, then went on to a sealed elemenal, and now I'm going with a ported 10w7 under the strut. This is in the 4 months I've had the car.

My old mustang went through a new stereo setup every month LOL Any of you guys on caraudio.com/vb? I'm "oh ravi' over there.

oh i can definately get teh same deal, but even with a deal they are still pricey.
