I have the 8500 and ZR3 laser shifter. Has worked good this past year & saved me about 8 times. Until today. lol.

The officer/citation indicates they got me rightfully so at 81 in a 65 with LIDAR, however the device never registered.

There is some salt residue from a recent snowing on the front lenses - has anyone else had this experience? I assume that was probably blocking the light.

2nd question
The officer also cited me for window tint violation. 150$ fine but no points. Question(s) - do I have to remove it - or just pay the fine? What happens the next time im pulled over for tint - is it points or just a fine each time?

When an officer pulls you over, roll down your two front windows and then he cant see the tint

Besides, only the real jerkoff cops will give you tickets for tints. You have to have done something to **** them off, or they could just have a chip on their shoulder. Most of them will just let you go on your way.

 

This is what I do to get out of Tint tickets and BTW its worked 3 times now. I go to my tinter and have them type up document on there parchment paper stating they removed the illegal tint and it was their error as they misunderstood what you wanted installed. Then leave the current tint Judge should through it out Let me know how goes.
