Accumat Barrier
Has anyone tried barrier material over their Dynamat Extreme (or other dampener)? This one is lightweight .3lbs and consists of a open-cell foam covered with a thinner layer of vinyl. Cost is $117 at some online stores. Supposedly the dampeners mainly stop vibrations, a decoupled layer of foam with another layer of vinyl above it traps road noise and tire hummmm.
