2 if you can fit them. If space is an issue one should be fine.

i dont trust the w7. I have heard bad things about them from other people, about them melting and whatnot. I dont go near them, especially because JL doesnt offer an extended warranty so if they melt you're out of lots of money.

Don't get me wrong though, when it is working correctly it is a very mean sub and hits haaard.

They melt because they play it too loud.
