I am thinking about putting my Alpine (similiar to the 9826) that I got about a year and a half ago for my acura integra into my Z. I noticed alot of people mentioned the metra kit, would it just be easier to take it to an installer and have them do it? I originally installed the alpine myself as i bought it from crutchfield. So i consider myself semi competent, i feel as thought i could do it, just i don't know how much it would cost a installer to do it, or where to get the metra kit, and wiring harness. Any comments and suggestions would be more than welcomed. thank you in advance.

 

The metra kit is what my installer uses on Z's. They also use the metra wiring harness...but I don't know if that plugs right in or if they have to splice something.
