Hey i am thinking of upgrading my headunit and probably switching out my Infinity Basslink "T" for a regular 10" sub.
Which Head units do you guys like the best for sound quality, price efficiency, and good looks as far as matching the stock interior. I really like the Sony MP80 and i know a lot of you guys on here hate the sony HUs.
I am either installing a 10 behind the driver seat in an enclosure or buying a box that fits under the rear strut bar. From you guys that have heard both behind the seat enclosures and under the rear strut, which sounds better?
Also i see guys running things like 2 JL 10s off a mono amp, how does that work, do you link the amp to the sub, and then the sub to the other sub? I've never seen subs wired that way, maybe thats what they call "in series" in the JL instruction guides?
All helps is appreciated, thanks guys.

Blah - Sony is crap. I think the three best matching HUs in the Z is the Eclipse 5 & 8 volt HUs, the upper line Alpines & the Nakamichi HUs in amber. I personally will never buy Alpine HUs but they do look nice and have lots of bells and wistles. Also check out the Clarion Pro-Audio HUs. They have great sound, features, and price but are sort of boring in look (black) and unless you get the one with the multi-color display they don't really match the interior lighting (but neither does the Alpines really).
Sorry for rambling, my 2 top choices would be, in order:
Eclipse 8443 8V
Nakamichi CD400 (CD700 is awesome but at $1300 it's quite expensive)
