My girlfriend bought me this alarm system for my birthday for my 05 Honda s2000. I've been researching the internet and many people have recommended the Clifford Matrix 3.5 but I have never heard any reviews on my alarm. I didn't get much input from the s2k forums.

Another issue is, the salesman she talked to told her that they stopped selling the Matrix line because they were having a lot of problems. Is there any truth to this?

If I decide to return the alarm, I can only get store credit. This store also carries Viper and Avital as well as Clifford.

My question is, should I shell out some extra money to get a better alarm? If so, which alarm should I go for?

I'm a complete noob when it comes to alarms. But I am looking for something that won't false alarm all the time and a 2-way pager would be nice. Thanks for any help you guys can provide!
