Default does this amp make enough power?

Does the alpine mrv-f340 4ch amp make enough power for a set of mb quart rce 6.5 components? I'm currently running them off the internal amp in my alpine cda-9835 HU and it does not sound nearly as good as i want it to.

Don't those components have a recommended wattage of 70 - 120RMS? I would pick somethiing between that range.

I wasn't very happy with the Alpine amp I had. Just didn't have the umphh I needed and clarity at high volume. I bought it mainly because it was really lightweight. The one you are looking at is 55W RMS at 14.xv isn't it? I would think that to be on the low end for the MB Quarts. Personally I would go higher (70 - 120W)
