Ok so Santa was a little late but I guess better late than never right?

I haven't taken it apart yet I wanted to make sure that the screen works before doing that. I plugged it in and hooked t up to my laptop but NOTHING. It powers on then after about 10 seconds it reads POWERING OFF. :headshake: WTF??? I tried plugging it in to the cig ligter as well just to see i it stays on but :headshake:
anyone that has this unit can you please tell me how you tested the screen before install? Thanks in advance.

 

Try hooking it u to a regular PC or make sure you switch the video output to "external" on the laptop. I have the same unit and it works perfectly outside the car. (haven't had time to intall yet)

 

off topic question: how much is that unit?
