Question Anyone know how to bypass speed sensor on Stock Navi???

I think Nissan OEM Navigation is one of the worst Navi around.'

Its no very user friendly and the worst part is you can not use it when the car move.

Does anyone have step by step process in bypassing the speed senor on the stock Navigation so it will work when the car move.

You input is greatly appreciated.

with the stock nav do you need to put it into park to make the nav work(or pull the hand brake up for manual) or does the car just not have to be moving?

The car has to be stationary. I have a 5AT and I know that as soon as I'm **fully** stopped, I can use it. As long as you put your places/routes into the address book, you can access them while driving. You can also use the route button to pull up quick stop info (fast food, rest stops, gas stations, ATMs, etc.) while driving. The only functions you can't control while the vehicle is in motion is actually entering an address/street manually. Plus, you cannot program entries into the address book or change the navigation settings/options.

I think the Nissan/Infiniti oem navigation is one of the BEST around!

Yeah, I've only actually seen the GM & BMW nav, I haven't been in a Lexus before with Nav, so I guess I don't have much to compare it to.

I use to have Acura TL and they have the one of the most user friendly Navigation. Also it loads things lots faster than the Z Navi.

Z Navi is piece of crap.

The Lexus Navigation is like using your local ATM, nice big touchscreen. However, Nissan/Infiniti navigation hands down gives the best map view. My Mom said the same thing and she drives a BMW 745i.
