Couple questions

I just got a 300/2 JL amp at a great price of $110 and am going to put it on a 10" JL W3. Do you think that this willl be too much power if I bridged it down to one channel or should I leave it just running off one channel. Or should I buy a box that holds 2 10" and just put 2 10" W3's in there. Will this amp be able to push both these speakers enough? Thanks!

i've never liked the idea of running just one channel of an amp. what's the rms requirement of that sub? either way, i would bridge it mono and just turn down the gain to compensate if that amp is too powerful. as far as the box with the extra sub, i think you should try it with the one you have first. if you're not happy, then change it. Just my opinion.
Good luck!

I do believe that if you run 2 10s with the 300/2, that would be 75 watts to each sub, underpowered. It would be fine if you were running a w0, but not good for a w3v2. One 10w3v2 is fine though.

Thanks Stu. I think I am going to go with the single 10" W3 setup.
