Why don't you have that there? Did you put something else under the panel? You know that a panel goes over that area right?

lol, come on .. i know that , but my terk sr-2 antenna is too big and wouldent fit in there thanks anyways..

The XM antenna will fit in that space. That is where mine is and it receives perfectly. You must use the XM supplied part for the road kit. Go on their site and get one.

i have my antenna mounted below the trim on the strut bar, but reception is def. bad compared to mounting it on the roof. i've been so annoyed by the lack of reception that i've been thinking about having zpresence or somebody paint a micro antenna to match the body and mounting it far back on the roof just before the hatch. i tried to remove the rear wiper fluid squirter and mount it their, but it didn't wanna go.

Just put your antenna on your dash right above the 3 pods... it's receives perfectly and don't have to run wires to the back of the car.
