I just can't bring myself to break bank on a HU just for its DVD playing ablilities. Maybe if I owned a G35 where the backseat and passenger could be entertained but in my Z its usually just me...ehh so many things to spend money on....

 

mrbader, so you actually watch tv while your driving?

 

I like being able to play DVDs while my car is in motion so that my gf isn't too bored when we go on a long road trip.

 

Yeah man my TV is always on... I get pretty darn good reception too. I watch Cops while I'm driving... kind of Ironic.

I actually own a MotorSport shop... so having stuff in my car is nice to show people what we can do. With what I spent on my Audio Video I could have bought a supercharger. But watching TV is less ticket prone for me.

I did actually just get a new product today... it's a clear spray you put on your license plate and if you go thru one of those camera light deals it over exposes the picture and they can't send you a ticket. $30 a can.

i don't care about it's dvd abilities ... I want a double din navi setup after the unfortunate event that have occurred with my dashboard so far

I used to play DVDs while I drove in my Eclipse.
