Default Removing AT Dash?

I've seen the disassembly instructions for MT owners thousands of times but no sign of how to take apart the 2004 AT dash? there's no hole for a shift **** to pull on?

Follow the same process. Leave the shift **** assembled. Use a cloth/tape covered flat head screw driver to popup the front of the shifter trim ring and following your way up from there.

just simply pull the grey piece at the bottom of the shift know down...then you will see a pin like clip. put that out and up comes the shift ****.
