does the rear speaker grill come off?

Default does the rear speaker grill come off?

im changing out the rear speakers and wondering if the speaker grill comes off. or do i have to remove everything? Thank you.

Well, they're not meant to come off, but they will if forced.. You would be best taking off the entire panel and then swapping the speakers.

You can pry them out like I did...but it's easier to get them (spkrs) out and get new ones in there if you take the whole panel off.

They are not meant to be pryed off. The grilles are plastic welded to the trim panel. If you pry them you will break the plastic weld. If you want to replace the grille, its best to pull off the panel, and drill out the welds.

I wasn't suggesting he do what I did. But I will say getting the panel off can be a nightmare that can cause more fasteners to break.
