I have heard that the display is kind of weak for showing images/video (its too small) and that the sound quality is lack-luster. All of this is hear-say as I have never owned one, but I did some research on it before I bought my cd player. This is the general consensus I got from most people on the car-audio boards. Hope this helps, but maybe someone who has one will chime in to give u a first hand opinion.

 

Trying to look for a decent unit that has good sound, is XM ready, can play back MP3 CDs(so I can drop alot of music on one CD), and if it has some visual effects to it that would be nice as well.

 

i have it, i like it a lot has a lot of cool real high quality displays while playing music. As for playing dvds or something like that its not that good, b/c it is too small. But i have a screen above it and playstation 2 hooked up so i can watch or play on both screens. Overall i like it alot especially if ur getting it at that price

 

Thanks, it does DVD playback I don't see it in the description.

Looks like I will end getting this HU though, don't really see anything else as good in the price range.
