Question speaker install how difficult is this?

I picked these speakers that have LEDs in them with a separate power connection, I know wiring the audio is easy just swap out with stock, what I would like to happen is have the LEDs wired to the dome lites so that when you open the doors the speakers lite up as well as the doors. Is this possible if so how difficult would it be? Also should I not **** wit it and have an installer do this? thanx

That would be pretty kool. But I would wire them to a switch so they could be used to illuminate the floor...since we don't have any lights down there.

they are called Dual illumnite are something like that Crutchfield has them, I had been researching them for a lil while and I thought hey might not be bad for the rear speakers cuz the stock ones blow, but I didnt know the sound quality, I figured they had to better than stock. Was at Best Buy the other day while a friend was shopping for speakers and noticed them in the demo setup, selected them and cranked it and for a no-name brand they can hold their own, even the best buy guy said he was impressed with them. I told him I was putting them in the back and he asked which car I had, the Z obviously and he said they'll fit in the front doors as well. it would match my headunit all blue backlit and I know its not a biggie but my nextel charger I keep plugged in all the time has a blue LED. he said I could tap off the amp power supply and since it is ignition switch they would shut off when the car is off, but I though if they were wired to the dome lites that would be bada§§. Santacruz if they are wired the way I want all I would need to do is use the overhead switch to toggle (in theory).
