Default Adding *factory* XM or Sirius?

Has anyone attempted to add the factory tuner kit to the Bose system? I'm looking at http://nissan.autowebaccessories.com...cat242_268.php and it shows the XM or Sirius tuner, the appropriate antenna, feeder cover for the antenna and a harness. Other than the obvious lousy factory antenna mounting location and cable routing, I presume this is the "cleanest" way to go while also probably one of the most costly.

Now, to make it more interesting, despite the Roadster not being available with sat. radio, is this hardware kit fully compatible with the head unit in a 2004+ convertible? I've read about particular cable not being present from the factory in the roadster, but is this harness that same cable or is something more required? I'm wondering if this kit can be adapted to the convertible (different antenna aside) provided the tuner can be located within reach of the head unit.
