I have two 10 inch JL subs custom installed in my trunk. It's very loud and it sounds extremely clean from the inside. I don't have anything dynomatted, but don't hear any rattle from the inside on most songs.

However, from the inside, the trunk area is rattling like crazy at mid to high volume. How do I get rid of this? It sounds like the license plate and perhaps the exhaust. I want it sounding clean from the outside as well.

 

I dynomatted the back of my license plate and put a peice of foam as well. There was also a small rattle on the bumper itself that my friend fixed when I got my bumper re-sprayed. It would only rattle the bumper on certain notes in the 50-60hz range and it was very very small. Apparently there was a bolt missing on mine which caused the rattle.

 

One of the reasons I went with one W6V2 10" driver as opposed to two. I get no rattles, unless I turn up the volume to insane levels.

 

Yeah, I get rattle in my bumper. even when I hold down the license plate with my hands, I hear rattle in the exhaust/bumper area. where can i go to fix this? a body shop?
