Default V1 Display in stock tire pressure gauge location?

What do you think about installing the Valentine 1 display in the far left gauge pod, and ditch the tps/thermometer/etc? I'm about to install aftermarket wheels without the tps anyway, so why not?

If it was me, i'd get a spare oem digital gauge pod and replace the battery meter instead.

I've been looking at some reviews, and the more I look, the more I like the Escort Passport SR7 model in lieu of the V1. I like the available installation of the laser sensors at the license plate area locations, and the potential ability to locate the radar sensor to the back of the rear view mirror. So I guess the next question would become....what is the best custom stealth mounting option for the display module?

under the dash to the right of the steering wheel or in the cubby hole are my suggestions.
