Default radar placement

i have considered many places to put a radar, but looking at what many of you guys are doing (to the left of the greenhouse shader behind the rearview mirror), is that blocking your sunshades from moving up and down?

I just stuck mine right above the gauges. The problem is that I had to buy an extention cord because the damn plug is behind the seat. You would think that they would have one in the dash specifically for radar detectors. Oh well...its not too bad.

Default radar loacation

Look at the posts from Dr. Bonz. I put mine in the same place. It will fit nicely in a tight little spot to the upper left side of the mirror, the sunshade clears it by a hair and the dots don't interfere with reception. I used a spot of dermabond (medical superglue) and it worked great!
