Default Kenwood Excelon 7015 and camera

Yes, I did a search on it and couldn't find an answer. Is it possible to hook up a reverse cam to the excelon unit?

yes you can use the extra video input line....

When I installed my DDX-7015, I hooked up extention wires to the video input so that when the day came to add the rear video cam I would not have to take out the center console again. Heck, I am even considering a front lip cam/rear cam set up using a splitter to switch cams with the one video input....

post some picks when you get a rear cam set up....

You need to set up your camera so it comes on when you have it on reverse, And setup your 7015 for video input Camera mode. 7015 has video sensing and when car is in reverse the camera needs to get power at th esame time allowing video sensor to pick up th esignal thus allowing reverse camera.

This is from our factory Kenwood rep, Funny we just had this conversation yesterday.
