Mounting hole cutout size for door & rear speakers?
How big is the stock mounting hole cutout for the door & rear speakers?
The speaker I'm looking at has a mounting depth of 2 9/16" and a hole cutout of 5 5/8"....will this work?

Wow, old post that turned up in my search.
Since I didn't find what I needed, I figured I'd bump this up to the top.
I'm after the same info. I don't care about the rear speakers (disconnecting them), but I need to know how big the speaker hole is in the doors. I plan to use a pair of Dynaudio 240mkII speakers, and I want to make sure their magnet assembly will fit through the hole. (I'll be using spacers, of course.. just need to know if the magnet fill fit in there.)
Thanks!

The only thing that is really an issue is the depth and magnet diameter since you need to have speaker spacers to clear the window anyway. I do know that JL audio XR 6.5 components fit (I have them) and infinity perfect 6.5 components fit. I do not know the measurements for either, but I am sure you can find them online to give you an idea of what does fit.
Thanks for the info. Couldn't find info on the Perfect series, but the *smallest* Kappa listed on Infinity's website requires a 127mm cut-out.
The JL site doesn't list the cut-out requirements, but they do mention the magnet outer diameter. From looking at the pics of the drivers, it doesn't look like they use much of a basket, so I'm guessing the magnet OD is usable as the cut-out requirement. That being the case, they only require 82mm diameter.
The Dynaudio MW160 driver (used in the 240mkII set) requires a 136mm cut-out at the widest part at the top, and continuously narrows down as you go down the speaker toward the magnet. Being that the driver will be spaced at least an inch out from the door panel (based on installs I've seen done already), I'm guessing things should fit fine.
