Default Sirius Radio improvment

Very new to this forum, and hope I'm in the right area to post questions. If I am, would appreciate some assistance to get to right area. I have a 04 350Z Touring with Auto and Nav and have installed a Sirius Radio X-Act near the ignition key area. I am having some sound problems with the FM Modulator such as static or it sounds like I am loseing the station it is tuned to (no matter which FM station it is tuned to). My question is as follows:Has anyone accessed the back of the Bose Audio System to send the Sirius signal to the radio via RCA wiring cables, virsus the wireless method? Is it difficult to get the radio loose from the dash when you have the DVD Navigation Sys? I would appreciate any help from you and will accept answers to my E-mail if this ties up forum space. HELP!!

Bose is SAT ready. I believe you just have to buy a wiring harness.

Did not know the Bose was sat ready. Just know that it didn't come with Sirius ready to subscribe. There is no "Sat" button either? Thanks. Have you an idea what wiring harness is necessary?

Does your Bose system say "RADIO" instead of "AM/FM" as one of the buttons?

Sorry I missed your post. Yes, my unit does say "Radio" instead of "AM/FM"?

Default Sirius Radio Improvement

JCN30127 and all other replies:

Thanks for your reply and detailed installation photos. You have answered my question very nicely and being the novice (old novice..) that I am, I should be able to make changes to my Sirius X-Act install. I am totally blown away with your photo of the Bose HU in that it displays the Sirius signal and artist etc.!!!! I am having some trouble navagating this forum and it took me some time to get back to my original posting and the resulting answers. Thanks again!
